Self-discipline Convention

Hwavoice is committed to providing a safe, lawful, and respectful environment for everyone. This Self-discipline Convention sets out the rules that all users agree to follow when using hwavoice.com and its related services (the "Services"). Please read it carefully and use the Services responsibly.

1. General Principles

• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country or region where you live and where your content is created or distributed.
• Use the Services honestly, in good faith, and only for lawful purposes.
• Respect the rights of others, including intellectual property, privacy, and publicity rights.

2. Content Rules

When you submit text for speech synthesis or publish content on the Services (such as articles, comments, or other materials), you must not create, upload, or distribute content that:

• Violates any applicable law or regulation;
• Infringes the copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other intellectual property rights of any third party;
• Is fraudulent, false, misleading, or deceptive;
• Is defamatory, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, obscene, or otherwise harmful to any person or group;
• Contains the personal information of others without their consent, or exploits minors in any way;
• Promotes violence, terrorism, illegal drugs, weapons, gambling, or any other illegal activity.

You may only submit text that you own or have the legal right to use.

3. Text-to-Speech Specific Rules

When using the text-to-speech features, you additionally agree:

• No impersonation without consent. Do not generate audio that imitates the voice of a real person without their explicit permission.
• No fraud or deception. Do not use generated audio for scams, phishing, identity fraud, or to mislead others about the origin of the content.
• No misleading media. Do not create or distribute audio that misrepresents real events, statements, or persons, or that could reasonably deceive listeners.
• Lawful subject matter. Do not synthesize text that is unlawful, defamatory, threatening, or otherwise violates the Content Rules above.
• Respect for voice models. Voice models and related technology are made available for your lawful use of the Services only and must not be resold, redistributed, or used to build competing services.

4. Account and Fair Use

• Register with true, accurate, and current information, and keep it up to date.
• One person may maintain one account; do not create accounts by automated means or under false pretenses.
• Do not abuse the free features, circumvent usage limits, or use automated tools to submit tasks in bulk.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Keep your credentials confidential.

5. Enforcement

We reserve the right to review content and accounts for compliance with this Convention and to take action — including removing content, suspending or terminating accounts, and cooperating with law enforcement — where we determine a violation has occurred.

6. Reporting Violations

If you encounter content or behavior that you believe violates this Convention, please report it to [email protected]. We will review reports and take appropriate action.
